What Aperture stores
Aperture stores your display name, sign-in identifier, onboarding choices, private project documents, uploaded and generated images, credit usage, subscription references, and any support requests you submit. Your browser also keeps local project drafts to help recover interrupted work.
Why this information is used
This information is used to sign you in, save and open your projects, generate scenes you request, track your allowance, manage subscriptions, respond to support requests, and protect the service from misuse. Projects are private to your account unless you export and share them yourself.
Services that process your information
Clerk handles sign-in and account verification. Supabase stores project records and images. Vercel hosts the application and processes operational request logs. When you request AI generation or analysis, the relevant prompt, timeline, and scene references are sent to OpenAI. Stripe handles checkout and subscription payments; Aperture does not store your full card number.
You can read the provider information from Clerk, Supabase, Vercel, OpenAI, and Stripe. Provider processing and retention are governed by the applicable service agreements and policies.
Storage and deletion
Project documents and images remain until you delete them or your account. Removing a project does not immediately remove image files that may be shared by other projects or retained drafts. Temporary generation transfers are cleared by a daily cleanup. Deleting your account removes your cloud projects, images, usage, support requests, and Clerk sign-in. A minimal deleted-account and billing reference is retained to prevent reuse of old sessions and reconcile payment events. Stripe may retain its payment records separately.
Account deletion also clears this account’s local drafts in the browser used for deletion when browser storage is available. Clear site data on other devices to remove their local copies. Previously downloaded exports remain wherever you saved or shared them.
Your choices
You can change your display name, download account records, export projects with their images, or delete your account from Account settings. For access, correction, or privacy questions, open a request in Help & guides before deleting your sign-in.
Browser storage
Sign-in uses cookies and browser storage. The editor uses IndexedDB and local storage for drafts and preferences. Blocking this storage may prevent sign-in or draft recovery. Aperture does not add advertising trackers to the application.
